Lindsay Mac Releases Pop Driven “Remember”

Lindsay Mac has garnered lots attention and made a career for herself playing the cello like a guitar and being an all-around alternative folk-rock femme. HOWEVER, after a physical injury no longer allowed her to play the cello comfortably Lindsay had to re-think, and she did…

Rehabilitating from her back injury Lindsay began her next musical move – the transition into TOTAL pop. Her debut EP (release TBA),Animal Again, is smart Katy Perry-esque synth pop. In Lindsay’s words: “I wanted my own music to be a physical experience again – to emulate that feeling where it just seeps into your body and you feel it in your chest.”

Lindsay Mac‘s debut single “Remember” is a great dose of what is to come on Lindsay‘s debut album Animal Again. On this single Lindsay is witty, vulnerable, and confident while recalling a relationship started on some not-so-sober evenings.

Syre & Fresko Offer “Gonna See Miracles”

Syre & Fresko 4

Listen: Gonna See Miracles

Australian imports Syre & Fresko have taken their hard new sound to the States. Dueling male-female vocals make an impression on the EP title track “Gonna See Miracles.” Comparisons are drawn from acts as Chairlift and Foster the People, with an interesting twist.  Syre & Fresko have been having quite a big year already. Recently they were 1st place in the National/TripleJ Run competition, which allowed the band to represent Australia in the Annual Spring Gala for Chinese New Year in Beijing. Syre & Fresko’s intricate sounds are a vibrant burst of energy and heavy drums which come full circle which are noticeable on Gonna See Miracles.

Jay Soul Revives the 90s with New Track

Jay Soul, a singer-songwriter from far away in South London, is sharing his  current project Stay With Me, which is descried as ten tracks of emotive tolerance. On each track of the LP Jay Soul grapples with situations he cannot change and emotions he cannot shake. The album highlights universal sensitivities that we all can feel or easily recall. Love, loss, pleasure pain, these are all feelings that Jay Soul is expressing on Stay With Me. Throughout the record we listen to a man empathize with his tumultuous past while singing and composing music in the style of soulful early-nineties (the years he came of age in). “Any Day” is the first single that he is sharing with audiences new and old alike.
